Stefan Hofmann

Since graduating from Landsdale Christian School in 2021, Stefan Hofmann has built an outstanding academic and professional pathway in the field of computer science and technology.
 

After leaving school, Stefan enrolled in a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) in Computer Science at Curtin University. During his time at university, he further developed his technical expertise through an IT Helpdesk role while also strengthening his communication and leadership skills as a Curtin Student Ambassador. These experiences, combined with his dedication to academic excellence, led to a graduate opportunity with the Australian Government in Canberra, where he now works full-time as a Software Developer.
 

Stefan's achievements at university were exceptional. He graduated with First Class Honours and received a Letter of Commendation in Recognition of Academic Achievement from Curtin University. He was also selected to attend the prestigious AI for Good Global Summit in Switzerland through a Global Voices policy fellowship, providing him with the opportunity to engage in international discussions surrounding artificial intelligence and its impact on society.
 

Reflecting on his time at Landsdale Christian School, Stefan credits the school's close-knit community as a significant factor in his success.

Lauren Pickett

I graduated in 2017 as part of the inaugural class at Landsdale Christian School. Following this, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and postgraduate studies in Acute Care, which ignited a deep passion for high-acuity nursing. I was privileged to work in one of Western Australia’s largest intensive care units, where I supported families through their most difficult moments and learned how to provide care that truly honors a patient’s dignity at the end of life.

This experience led me to my current role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in organ donation. Where I coordinate the donation process across Western Australia’s metropolitan hospitals, serving as a dedicated advocate for families navigating the complexities of donation and end-of-life care. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with families and like-minded colleagues in this field.

Actively out of work I enjoy the usual things someone in their late 20s does, whether it be traveling to every country, joining a run club or discovering the next best book. I am lucky to walk life with my husband, happily with our 4 fur-babies.

Reflecting on my time at LCS, I am deeply grateful for the friendships I formed, which remain as strong as ever. It has been a privilege to watch the people I grew up with reach milestones, create memories, and start their own families.

Hiral Varsani

It is hard to believe that almost 10 years have passed since I graduated from LCS. From 2014 - 2017, I was fortunate to be part of the first cohort to graduate from Landsdale Christian School, a unique experience that I will always value.

Following graduation, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling. I now work as a Counsellor at a high school, a career I find incredibly rewarding. I am passionate about advocating for student wellbeing and supporting young people, while working collaboratively with staff, families and the wider community.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and creating memories with my husband. Over the year I have travelled to many countries and do not intend to stop! We are now looking forward to our next chapter as we prepare to welcome our first baby in January 2027.

My years at LCS are filled with many wonderful memories, including our first mission trip to the Philippines and the Cambodia trip in Year 12. One of my favourites was the Sydney and Canberra trip in Year 11, where I learnt to ski for the very first time.

I will always be grateful for the small class sizes, close connections with teachers and the many opportunities we were given. We may have been the “guinea pig” cohort, but I certainly enjoyed the journey! 

Dr Jade Bogdanovs

I attended LCS from 1989-1995 for all of Primary School, back when we were surrounded by bush, the oval was yellow sand, and we had to be on the look out for snakes in summer!

I am now an Educational & Developmental Psychologist running a children’s clinic, where I get to help lots of families.

I’m excited to see how far Landsdale Christian School has come from its tiny start, now that I’ve come full circle as a parent! I have always loved the sense of community and closeness to Jesus, and that hasn’t changed even after all this time.
