Career Pathways
Preparing students for life beyond school.

Our approach to learning reflects our belief that when students feel known, supported, and engaged, they achieve their best. We are proud of the record of consistent success of our students, with all ATAR graduates gaining entry into their first-choice university pathways across a diverse range of fields.
Our students have consistently achieved strong results as they have pursued excellence and challenged themselves through a range of academic opportunities, including the Australian Mathematics Competition and other STEM events.

Through high expectations, personalised support, and a commitment to developing each student’s strengths, we equip young people with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to succeed beyond school.

Pathways to Success
We provide a range of pathways to support each student in achieving success aligned to their strengths, interests, and future goals.
Students can pursue an ATAR pathway for university entry, a General pathway focused on practical learning, or a blended program that includes certificates and courses through North Metropolitan TAFE.
Our approach ensures flexibility and personalised support, allowing students to engage in meaningful learning experiences while developing real-world skills. Through guidance, mentoring, and strong academic preparation, we equip students with the confidence and direction to transition successfully to further study, training, or employment.
CareerLink
Our CareerLink program supports students to explore future pathways with confidence and clarity. Through personalised, one-on-one career counselling and course selection, students are guided to make informed decisions aligned to their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
Students can access a range of pathways, including ATAR and General courses, as well as certificates and programs through North Metropolitan TAFE. An endorsed Work Experience program provides valuable real-world learning, helping students develop practical skills and insight into future career opportunities.
We also maintain strong connections with Avondale University and other providers, supporting smooth transitions beyond school. Grounded in our commitment to knowing each student, we equip young people with the skills, experience, and direction to confidently pursue their chosen pathway.
Year 10 Work Experience
Year 10 Work Experience provides students with the opportunity to participate in short-term, unpaid placements in a real workplace setting.
Usually held at the end of Term 2, this valuable experience allows students to explore potential career pathways while developing practical employability skills such as communication, teamwork, initiative, and responsibility.
By stepping beyond the classroom, students gain insight into workplace expectations and begin to connect their learning with future aspirations, supporting informed decisions about their senior studies and career directions.
