Year 10-12

Ownership, strength and aspiration

Landsdale Christian School’s Senior Secondary program supports students as they prepare for further study, vocational training and employment. Students are encouraged to take greater ownership of their learning, develop clear goals and make informed decisions about the pathway that best suits their strengths and aspirations.

In Year 10, students continue with a strong foundation in English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities and Social Sciences, generally taught across four periods each week. They also continue their Christian education, health and physical education, and select electives. These choices allow students to explore their interests and prepare for the more specialised courses available in Years 11 and 12.

Senior students may follow an ATAR pathway towards university, a General pathway supporting further training or employment, or a program that includes Vocational Education and Training through TAFE or another approved provider. These options contribute towards the Western Australian Certificate of Education and provide practical preparation for life beyond school.

Teachers work closely with students and families through course counselling, academic monitoring and pastoral support to help each student choose a realistic and purposeful pathway.
